Our Mission
Prospect Therapy is a queer + trans affirming therapy practice based in Long Beach, CA, with a focus on mental health for first-generation, immigrant, and bicultural communities. Our guiding principles are integrity, generosity and enthusiasm. We support these principles through transparent decision-making, promoting community visibility and access to care, and affirming all identities.
Each of our therapists is LGBTQ+ affirming. We bring clinical training and lived experience to our work. This means we share identities and experiences with the communities we serve, and regularly participate in high quality training, education and consultation with experts in gender and culturally affirming clinical care.
Prospect Therapy prioritizes those in the transgender and nonbinary communities who are unemployed or underemployed when offering reduced-rate sessions. Please inquire about our additional low-cost therapy options. We are not in-network insurance providers.
